Home for Christmas

We left the hospital on Friday and have been taking it easy since then. Even though the fatigue and nausea hit this weekend, as we were warned, we realize how fortunate we are. Since many cancer patients now receive chemo in an outpatient infusion clinic, most of the people who were on the oncology unit with us were terribly sick. Some of the patients had been there for weeks and weeks, and had no idea when they would get better. Had no clue if they would be home for Christmas.

We didn’t see many of the other patients, but were still encouraged by the notes of one of the guys a few rooms down from Tony. This is one of his postings: P1130288 We’ve entered a marathon and its going to be a long road.  We welcome your continued prayers and messages throughout this time.

Be Well &  Merry Christmas
